1. Who we are

I Know A Guy AC ("we," "us") is a licensed, insured HVAC contractor (Florida state certification CAC1823073) serving Pinellas County and South Tampa. We perform AC repair, whole-system replacement, and maintenance. Our own licensed technicians do the work — we are not a lead broker or a referral marketplace.

2. The price tool gives an estimate, not a final bill

The instant price shown by our online tool is an up-front estimate based on the details and photos you provide. We build it on the high side on purpose, so it only moves down, never up. Your final price is confirmed in writing by our technician after an on-site evaluation and before any work begins. Things a photo can't show — ductwork condition, electrical, line-set runs, permits — are reviewed on site.

3. Communications consent

If you submit your information and check the consent box, you authorize I Know A Guy AC to contact you (including by phone, text, and automated or prerecorded calls/messages) about your AC project at the number you provide. Consent is not required to get your estimate. You can opt out any time by replying STOP or telling us to remove you.

4. Workmanship & equipment warranties

Warranty terms are provided in writing on your estimate and invoice. Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty (for example, 10-year parts warranty on registered GrandAire and Rheem/Ruud systems), subject to the manufacturer's terms and registration requirements. The online estimate itself is provided "as is" for planning purposes and is not a warranty.

5. Scheduling, payment & cancellation

We'll confirm scheduling, pricing, and payment terms directly with you before work begins. Financing may be available to qualified homeowners through Synchrony, subject to their approval and terms.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the work we actually perform under a written agreement with you. The website and its estimate tool are provided "as is," and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date reflects the current version.
